It started with a Facebook message. So many rides do these days. This one started “Going to the peaks on Saturday the 19th March….” and concluded with “…thinking 80/100 miles with lots of hills”. The hardest road climb in England? #55 Rosedale Chimney

It’s not the longest climb, it’s not the climb boasting the greatest elevation gain either and it’s also not the climb at the highest altitude but. Beautiful sunshine, warm spring Saturday morning and like minded company to ride with; ideal ingredients for a “Cafe Stop” ride.
